Anicka Newell is a homegrown Olympian! In fact she is a two time Olympian and two time World Finalist who was raised right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Don't miss this ONE NIGHT ONLY opportunity to hear Anicka speak about her Pole Vault journey.

DUKE CITY MARATHON

When: Sunday, October 16th 

Where: Downtown Albuquerque (Civic Plaza)

One of the largest annual running event's in Albuquerque. Since 1984, the Duke City Marathon has grown to hosting seven races: Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, 10K Run, 10K Walk, 5K Run and a 5K Walk - something for everyone! On race day, stop by the Sport Systems's booth and say "hello!"

SUGAR SKULL FUN RUN

When: Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022

Where: National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 4th Street SW

Get ready to walk, jog, strut and stroll your way along the picturesque Bosque with this year’s Sugar Skull Fun Run, taking place on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 4th Street SW.

This year, participants can select from a timed 5K for runners, a 5k fun walk/run or a one-mile strut and stroll for strollers and pets. Whether you are walking, jogging or running your way to the finish line, we look forward to cheering you on in your Día de los Muertos attire!

FOOTHILLS 10 MILES RUN

When: Sunday, November 13, 2022

Where: ELENA GALLEGOS OPEN SPACE

Bosque Running Co. has teamed up with the City of Albuquerque Open Space and Park and Recreation to bring you the First Annual Foothills 10 Miles Run. Whether you're a trail running pro or looking to start trail running, this is your race. The run will start and finish at Elena Gallegos Open Space. There will be no access to Elena Gallegos Open Space on race day. All participants and spectator are encouraged to park at Albertsons Market located at 12201 Academy Rd NE. There will be buses to transport runners and spectators to the race site. The bus will be running from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. The race will be limited to 400 runners.

The race will offer prize money to the top three finishers both male and female. Age group awards for both men and women: 14and under; 15-19; 20- 24; 25- 29; 30- 34; 35- 39; 40- 44; 45- 49; 50- 54; 55- 59; 60- 64; 65- 69; 70+
