How is Avalanche different this year?
- We are expanding Avalanche across two weekends. The sale kicks off Friday, September 25th and will span 10 days, ending Sunday, October 4th.
Due to Covid-19, ski area reps are not traveling to ski shows and sales. Therefore, there will be no free lift ticket giveaways this year.
Sport Systems will be giving away a free lift ticket to select ski areas (TBA) to those who purchase a full ski or snowboard setup (boots, board/skis and bindings) while supplies last. In addition, we will be giving away discount coupons to select ski areas for purchases over $50.
There will be no boot fitting services done on-the-spot Friday (Sep 25th) to Sunday (Sep 27th), but we can schedule an appointment for you after the sale.
Sport Systems will be operating at limited capacity. Entry to the store will be through our main entrance. All bike inquiries will enter through the bike shop entrance located on the south end of the building.
There will social spacing X's on the ground leading to the store entrance and to all registers.
A greeter will be regulating the flow of traffic entering the store, and a waitlist will be created upon entering to get you paired up with a sales associate if you are looking to purchase ski or snowboard equipment.
All boot try-ons will require your own socks to be worn, otherwise you will need to purchase a new pair. No try-on socks will be provided.
There will be Covid cleaning stations for all boots that are tried on and not purchased.
There will be plexiglass in front of all registers with contactless credit card processing.
We will constantly be disinfecting all surfaces throughout the store. Boot fitting areas will have plexiglass partitions for social distancing and overall safety.
Masks will be required at all times, and if you don't have one we will provide one for you. No exceptions.
