Maxxis' Overdrive is ready for trips to the store or treks across continents. The grooved tread can handle all types of weather and the Kevlar belt provides serious protection from flats. Plus, the reflective stripe keeps you visible and safe, too.

I've been using these tires for 2 years (same set) on my Haro Flightline mountain bike in the Montgomery area. Commuting to work, shopping, exercise, touring, and just for fun. Even used them on some hard pack dirt trails with no problems. I've tried several other semi-slick tires and this is the only one I've been totally satisfied with and never had a flat. Great things I've noticed: 1) Can handle much more psi than rated, been using mine 50psi front/70 psi rear. 2) Great durability. 2000+ miles and the center of the rear is just now getting smooth. 3) No flats! I've had steel wire bead tires that were constantly getting flats from glass fragments in this city. 4) Very light for a 1.75" tire. 5) Great grip in all pavement conditions. The tread handles wet roads well, even at speed. Does well on hard pack dirt too. 6) Reflective strip. A must for me, I work nights. Very bright in the opinion of my co-workers. Can't be too safe in a city where people see few cyclists. Only one con I can think of. They are a huge pain to put on when they are new, even with tire levers. Best tires I've ever owned, and I won't use any other for road/urban on my mountain bike.
